What are the most common causes?
A tumour known as an epidermal inclusion cyst can form after a trauma, or in reaction to foreign bodies. Cancer cannot be ruled out but that diagnosis must be made by an experienced physician.
What are the symptoms?
Most lumps cause a deformity that is visible to the eye or palpable.
How is it diagnosed?
Diagnosis is made by history and clinical exam. A MRI is often prescribed.
