Morton’s neuroma treatments
Conventional treatment consists in changing shoes and wearing foot orthotics. Cortisone injections could be prescribed if symptoms persist. Surgery is required in about 40% of cases. The procedure to decompress or excise the affected nerve(s) is done with local anaesthetic. Patients are able to return to their usual activities quickly.
