Hand fracture treatment
Non-surgical treatment
In most cases, the fracture is only slightly displaced and can be realigned through immobilization without surgery. In most cases a splint will be worn for four to six weeks, followed by mandatory therapy.
Surgical treatment
A fracture may be too unstable for non-surgical treatment. Surgery can involve screws or staples to set the bones. Therapy will be crucial to maximize postoperative healing.

The treatment exceeded my expectations. I was able to resume my normal activities, I who foresaw a long convalescence, without music and without sport. Thank you Dr. Brutus!
