Nonsurgical treatment

Rest and avoidance of certain activities is prescribed. A cortisone injection and anti-inflammatory medication can be helpful.

Surgical treatment

After diagnosis, surgically shortening of the ulna through arthroscopy or the open approach, depending on the case, or repositioning the radial when possible.
